System Navigator (as File Archivator) Review

A product by EXEONE

Overview

System Navigator is actually a file manager with a module for archive creation and extraction. The program has a low speed when is creating or extracting files, but supports a decent range of formats (archiving and extraction). It doesn't have all features of top file compression tools, but provides a detailed help manual.

Features
5.56/10

Right click menu is intuitive and you can choose to include or not subfolders of selected folder, choose a compression level and a compression method, split archive based on a list with already defined sizes and create self extracting archives.

This software includes additional modules such as a FTP client and a disc burner (Blu-ray, DVD/CD).

The interface is overwhelmed with buttons and isn't very intuitive at first use.

Cons

  • will open Windows folders in its interface and isn't intuitive how to disable this

Conclusion
6.06/10

System Navigator wants to be a file manager to handle different operations with files, but lacks at easy of use. As file archivator it has a pretty low speed when is archiving or extracting, but it supports a decent number of file extensions, including popular ones.
