Overview

IZArc is a file archiver and extractor with a simple and intuitive interface. It has a very good extraction speed and supports a wide range of formats. The program lacks at compression speed and during setup it offers to install (many) toolbars and third party software (you can cancel these installations).

It has a straightforward interface, very intuitive. Is able to test archive for errors, it allows to add files with drag and drop, change compression level and method, set password using different encryption algorithms. It supports to repair damaged archives.

It has a different menu to convert an archive from one format to another.

Right click menu is customizable from Options menu and here you can also change file type associations, enable or disable columns and toolbar buttons.

IZArc it has a very good extraction speed and it handles well all common formats. It has a classic look and feel. You need to pay attention during setup because will propose to install third party components (such as toolbars), but you can decline these installations.
